At the end of January I will be leaving the blood center after 12˝ years. It has truly been a pleasure to work with blood donors—you are a fine and decent group of people. I have taken a nursing position with a local hospital. Your kindness and generosity will be fondly remembered whenever I see a patient receiving one of your gifts. Best wishes to you all and please don’t forget to give whole blood every 56 days and platelets every two weeks (old recruitment habits die hard).
