Donors on the Move

July was a busy month for the marching blood donors! On the 4th of July, donors in Coles and Champaign counties marched in the Red, White and Blue Days parade in Charleston and the Freedom Celebration parade in Champaign. The weather was extremely hot that day, but it did not stop people from enjoying the parades! Thank you to all who braved the heat and marched with us! We appreciate your participation!

On July 23, marching blood donors in Coles county teamed up again for the Bagelfest Parade in Mattoon. The temperature was still high that evening, but the bloodmobile cruised through Broadway Avenue with a breeze. The marching blood donors did a fantastic job passing out candy and blood donation information. Thank you to those who walked with us in this parade! All had a good time!
